Accept Online Payments
To take money on your website, you connect a payment provider. Customers then pay by card during checkout, and the payment is recorded against their order automatically.
Which providers you can use
Your built-in store uses the same card processors as the rest of CloudFFL OS — NMI and Authorize.net. If you already take cards at the counter or on sales orders, you can use that same account on the website.
Setting up a processor is covered in detail in the Payment Processing shelf. This page is just the website side — once a processor is enabled, it's available at online checkout too.
Turn on a provider for the website
- Go to the payment provider settings in CloudFFL OS and open your processor (NMI or Authorize.net).
- Enter the account credentials from your processor and set the provider to Enabled.
- Once enabled, the provider is available on your website checkout automatically.
Test before you go live
Run a test transaction in test mode first to confirm the full checkout works, then switch the provider to live. See the Payment Processing guides for the test-to-production steps.
Card details are handled securely by your payment processor — they never touch your CloudFFL OS server. Returning customers can also save a card as a secure token for faster checkout.
