Shipping and Delivery at Checkout

At checkout, customers choose how they want their order delivered. You decide which delivery options appear and what they cost.

Common delivery options

  • Flat rate — a fixed shipping charge (for example, $9.95 per order).
  • Free shipping — often used above a threshold, like free shipping over $200.
  • Live carrier rates — real-time rates from a carrier so the customer pays actual shipping. If you use ShipStation or UPS with CloudFFL OS, those tie in here.
  • In-store pickup — let local customers pick up at your shop instead of shipping.

How delivery flows into your back office

When an order comes in, CloudFFL OS creates a delivery order so your team knows what to pick, pack, and ship. You fulfill it the same way you handle any other order — and if you use a shipping integration, you print the label and the tracking flows back to the customer.

Firearms don't ship to the customer's home — they ship to the buyer's chosen FFL dealer. See Selling Firearms Online for how dealer selection works at checkout.
